Setting up Acrobat to Make PDF Files
Launch Adobe Acrobat. Go to “Settings” and “Job Optons” from the menu. The screen below will come up.

Click on the Compression tab first.

Unclick all the “Compression” Boxes and change the DPI on all 3 boxes to 300 DPI.

Go to the “Color” tab and set it to “Leave Color Unchanged”

When making PDF files, make sure that all your images are in CMYK and not RGB. On the Mac, DO NOT USE “PDF Writer” that is under the chooser. It will give you 72 DPI PDF files.
